1. Make sure that the total electrical load of the generator does not exceed the rating indicated by the manufacturer.

2. Place the generator in a well-ventilated area.

3. Keep cords out of the way to avoid a tripping hazard. Never run cords under rugs, rugs, or areas where heat can accumulate. The cables could be damaged without you noticing.

4. Select electrical cords that have the proper capacity for the electrical load of the generator. Overloaded cables can overheat and cause fire or equipment damage.

5. Check the oil level. Make sure the level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick.

6. Check the fuel level. They generally have a fuel indicator, check if the fuel is full. Do not try to start it without fuel, otherwise you could damage the generator.
